Pop Talk: Monet Masters

Say hello to Brittany!

I'm excited to talk about my ATL homegirl and friend Brittany Masters, Interior + Furniture Designer of Monet Masters. Her work is so stellar! Brittany's design style is fresh, eclectic, whimsical and modern. She uses bold colors and beautiful furniture placement in the spaces she creates for her clients. Her services include consultation, full design service, home staging and personal shopping. Her spaces are the kind I daydream about.

I met Brittany about a year ago in Atlanta at a design event. We been running into one another at great design events ever since.  We also exchange ohhhhs and awhhhhs on Instagram. She has good eye candy she shares on IG too!

Brittany inspires me to be happy and live for the right now! She always has a great outfit on and a smile on her face. Her energy is great, it's so contagious. Now let's have a little Pop Talk with Brittany.

1. I'm most creative...

I hate to say this but I am the most creative when there is not much to work with (money, materials.etc) but for the record that doesn't mean these are my absolute favorite projects :-)

2. My creative style is...

My creative style is very eclectic and effortless looking, never too crisp! Sometimes my creative style is a huge hindrance as its hard making up my mind which direction to take.

3.The one thing people don't know about me is...

I am a contemporary dancer......typically at the gym in the aerobic room after a good workout :-) On a serious note i'm really goofy.

4. ____________ inspires me

architecture, fabrics, cars, I hate to sound however you take this but EVERYTHING inspires me. I'm so analytical I never take anything at surface value.

5. My life in 6 words

Charismatic, intellectual, creative, poised, optimistic, energetic

6. My dream project is...

Interior design is much more emotional for me. My dream project would be for a less fortunate family, something like the abc "extreme makeover" episode. Why, because firstly it would be a joy seeing their faces and giving them something they couldn't dream of. Secondly, it's a designers dream to design a space without critique, budget constraint, opinion or input :-)

7. What's your theme song when you walk into a room?

Geeeezzzzz that's so flipping hard but I think ill go with Jill Scott "Golden" she's my absolute favorite artist IF i'm feeling nice and friendly.... If i'm feeling myself then maybe Rick Ross "Boss"

8. Do you say Soda or Pop?

NONE, I literally drink nothing but water. Literally. That and peppermint tea.
