Inspired Space

Speaking of dreams... This year I am putting myself first by finding opportunities to be my best creative self. As a creative soul, I don't always have time to create a work space that inspires me and my work. I want to have the ultimate inspiration space that looks and feels like a designer actually lives here. My space would be colorful, sleek, and modern with lots of storage. Comfort and style is always a priority. A inspirational space that compliment your style is what we all dream about.

My home office would be a mixture of hard and soft furniture, high end but casual. Color is key for me, a fun rug and bold artwork. I have lots of colorful supplies which would amazing in neutral ceramic bowls, trays and containers. Plants placed on surfaces throughout the space would be just the right touch to bring everything together.

Hey, did I mention there's a little contest for Blogtacular attendees?  1 lucky attendee will win a dream room makeover from West Elm, Yippee! I love West Elm and I really love a good contest. The contest rules say you must a UK resident to win. I'm not a UK resident but I thought it would be fun to enter anyway. For my entry, I decided to create 2 inspiration boards!

My inspiration board below says it all. It captures my true design aesthetic. The second board is my wish list board that supports my inspiration board with beautiful products from West Elm. Take a look!

Day Dreams

Raise your hand if you are a day dreamer? As long as i could remember I've been a day dreamer. I have spent many days dreaming about places to see, things to create or spaces to work in. Isn't it exciting to see your dreams come to life?

In just a week I will be flying to London, a life long dream trip of mine! (twirls around in my chair) Not only will I do lots of site-seeing, I will be attending Blogtacular! Excited doesn't even get close to describing how I feel about this trip!

Let's talk about Blogtacular! This wonderful conference is for creatives that come together to meet other creative peeps, share ideas, have fun creating and take fabulous photos. My friend Kat Molesworth is the Creative Mastermind behind this  colorful annual conference. She has worked all year planning a fantastic gathering that I can't wait to experience.

My daily agenda planner is all set with things to do and places to see. My goal is to take in all that I can, have as much fun as I can and leave exhausted!  My creative soul is so ready for London! Let's get inspired, let's get crafty! The countdown begins.

Hello March!

It's my Birthday Month! I am going to celebrate all month of course, so you've been warned. Green is my favorite color so it is only proper to celebrate with all things green! I will avoid at all cost the color Kelly green, for I am not Irish. (no shade)

My birthday month always starts off with my birthday style guide! It's all things Tropical and Unicorns, oh yeah. Take a look and get inspired. Let the party begin!

Dinner and a Movie

We all love to stay home and watch movies, right! I love to take time to find some of my favorite snacks and munchies, cozy up on the sofa and binge watch movies. Wayfair has asked me a couple of bloggers to put together our very own Dinner and Movie idea board! I'm loving this challenge. This was so much fun!

My ideal Dinner and a Movie is all about binge watching Wes Anderson movies on a Saturday afternoon. I would start with getting my space comfy with some floor pillows and bring out some fun bowls for snacking. Popcorn is a must. I never watch movies without popcorn. I make it on the stove, add butter and salt.

My movie binge starts with The Royal Tenenbaums then moves straight to the Grand Budapest Hotel. I love to snack, so I imagine having some cheese fondue with handmade pretzels. I would add some veggies to the make my dinner complete. To wash it all down, Red Sangria is totally on the menu. Sangria adds just enough sweet to my Saturday meal.

Dinner and a Movie is all what you make it. Start planning yours today. Create a theme, set up your space, grab your favorite snacks and don't forget the perfect beverage!
