On Monday my crafty exhibit opened in the Hallmark Archives Collection studio. It was so cool and so many people came out to see it. I have been working on this project for a year now and I am so proud. This show is about taking resources from our vast archives collection and creating crafty projects from it. I really wanted to create something that would inspire other designers throughout the Hallmark community. My vision was to make the space like a dream design studio where you can actually sit down and feel creative. My friend Jeanee (Dirty Laundry) designed the dope poster for me and my other buddy Jane did the photography. I am so lucky to have such talented people in my life. I have had this show in my head for over a year and everyone I asked to help with this vision was able to execute it exactly the way I envisioned it.
This is actually a dream come true. How many people can say that they work for Hallmark Cards and then have the opportunity to art direct and design their own show, not many. I would like to thank everyone who had a hand in this project. This project is a success because of you, thank you!!!
