DIY Challenge

What a great creative opportunity to work with Wayfair! I have a great before and after DIY post that is right up my alley. Wayfair asked a few bloggers to take a unfinished piece of furniture and make it amazing! I was totally down for the challenge!

The furniture piece chosen for this project is the Magnnis End table. This table is a bit traditional with simple and clean lines. All great elements to start a DIY project.

I decided that this table needed a modern makeover. I went with monochrome colors and strong angles to transform my table into a whole new piece of awesomeness! I really love the way it turned out!

It's ALT time!

The countdown is on! Ten days until ALT Summit 2016, whaa what! I am a speaker again this year and I'm turning it up a notch. I'm dishing out design advise at my very own help desk "Ask a Creative Problem Solver". This is going to be fun!

Retail Love: Henry & June

Thursday night I attended the Henry & June 2015 fall collection party presented by the Spin Style Agency. It was a great event filled with beautiful clothes, stunning accessories and great styling. Lets not forget those yummy lemonade cocktails designed by my friends at Project Sip. I had two and they were very tasty!

Henry & June is a simplistic, modern store with great use of non conventional materials for fixtures. I was totally digging it! My highlights were the use of plumbing pipes throughout the space. All of my favorite materials were present: concrete, metal, white tiles and unstained wood. My Retail Love is real for Henry & June. The product, store elements and styling are perfect!

Henry & June located in the Highlands. Stop by, shop and grab a cup of coffee from their coffee bar. They have a cool and friendly staff on duty to ensure a pleasant visit.
