Pantone has a new color for 2017, Greenery 15-0343. I am so excited about this color for 2017. Green is totally my favorite color! It's like Pantone decided to give me my own color to love and drool over. All I can say is thank you Pantone! I promise to love Greenery and make her look awesome at all times.

Pantone also describes Greenery as "a refreshing and revitalizing shade, Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings."

New Year, New beginnings! I am dreaming up some fun things for 2017. Get ready people!

Holiday Cheer

I love this time of the year! Holiday cards have been arriving with from family and friends all month. Each card has it's on style that reflect the senders. You can always tell without looking at the names who the card is from. It warms my heart to receive holidays which inspired my choice of cards to send every year.

This year I wanted to bring some color and fun to my holiday cards. I found these colorful Holiday from Minted that were so cute and full of Holiday Cheer. I've partnered with Minted to showcase their lovely holiday cards this season. They have lots to choose from with several options for colors, fonts, and card sizes.

This Christmas tree card was design by Olivia Kanaley. I chose a flat card with a custom design on the back. I also had Minted address my envelopes for me, woohoo! Do you see those cutie bird stamps I found at the post office?! Nailed it!

The creative designer in me always wants to add color and some Dayle spark to my cards. There are a couple ways to do that. Use washi tape and markers on cards. Grab some coordinating pattern paper to create envelop liners to add a pop of color. Use stamps, glitter or even colored pencils to give your holiday cards some added happiness.

These cards really fit my personality and I know my family and friends will love these. Have fun and enjoy this season of giving.

Happy Holidays!

DIY Challenge

What a great creative opportunity to work with Wayfair! I have a great before and after DIY post that is right up my alley. Wayfair asked a few bloggers to take a unfinished piece of furniture and make it amazing! I was totally down for the challenge!

The furniture piece chosen for this project is the Magnnis End table. This table is a bit traditional with simple and clean lines. All great elements to start a DIY project.

I decided that this table needed a modern makeover. I went with monochrome colors and strong angles to transform my table into a whole new piece of awesomeness! I really love the way it turned out!
